Don’t let the frogwater that’s boiling us alive let you skip over this: we murdered another country’s citizens in cold blood, and when their leader objected, we called him a drug dealer and cut off aid to his country. That’s freakish.
Petro objected to the US bombing a Columbian fishing vessel that had the emergency beacon on because they were broken down, that we subsequently bombed. One Columbian fisherman survived the attack.

This is the official US response to Petro's comments.

At @leadstories.com we've been debunking a stream of these. Seems like a network operating out of Vietnam churning out dozens of versions of the same stories using the same AI prompts but with different celebrities and locations inserted.
Someone just sent me a bunch of examples of these. Apparently the site is flooded with them.

There's gotta be a story behind all of these.

We've just had a special weekend email from the Russian troll factory (they usually email us their latest fake videos Monday to Friday, so this is out of character), and they're all about Charlie Kirk. Unusually, they've also posted them on Truth Social, which they don't usually do in my experience.
I'm honestly surprised the Russian troll farms aren't all over the Charlie Kirk shooting, currently it seems they're focused on France, Germany, Armenia, and Moldova. The most recent links they've sent us were all about France, guess they've not received their latest marching orders.

I see people bleating yet again that "elections are won from the centre". Let's examine this claim.
1. Not long ago, the current Labour government, with its grovelling to corporations and oligarchs, extreme deregulation, island of strangers rhetoric etc, would have been classed as radical right. 🧵

Ben, financial historian here. I have been completely on board with your frustration with crypto, but we have to get past the “wildcat banking” story of the 19th century. It prevents us from seeing why crypto and in particular stablecoins are so spectacularly misconceived. 🧵
