Bochetto, the lawyer suing SEPTA, is claiming Cherelle simply ordered SEPTA to reverse the cuts and is omitting the part where the city dumped $135 million on SEPTA to get the routes back.

SEPTA estimates it would receive about $161 million in state money for operating expenses under Gov. Josh Shapiro’s proposal for a 1.75% increase in the sales-and-use tax revenue allocated to public transit.
