I can’t believe I have to say this, but “they” aren’t going to make this stop. WE have to make this stop. “They” aren’t going to save us. WE have to save ourselves and each other.

Do we get that yet?! 🤬🤦🏼‍♀️

The GOP never resign. They circle the wagons and defend their own.
Dems should do the same from now on.

The president cannot run for a third term. Our 22nd Amendment is very clear on this issue.

No matter what Trump says, no matter how many times he calls himself a king, presidents are NOT kings.

As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law:

“It doesn’t have my married name on it,” she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.

NH’s new ID requirements send some would-be voters home to grab passports, birth certificates
The law requires all new voters to show proof of their U.S. citizenship. For some, that meant making multiple trips to and from the polls before finally casting a ballot on Tuesday.

Moving a detainee around to evade judicial review is classic authoritarian behavior.
The government claims Mahmoud Khalil was already in NJ on his way to Louisiana by the time his habeas petition was filed—an argument that the NY federal court lacks jurisdiction.

But Khalil's lawyer checked the ICE locator when she filed and even 4 hrs after, and he was listed as still being in NY.

Why are Senate Democrats acting as though they will be responsible for a government shut down when the Republicans control the White House, Senate and House?

If there is a government shut down, it’s on the Republicans – they have control and they are responsible for this abominable bill.

The Union was formed to provide common defense and protect trade among individual States. If the governing laws of our collective nation are enforced inconsistently, then there's no reason to believe ANY laws will be enforced AT ALL. This defeats the purpose of the Union. We should dissolve it now.

Wait for it…

As stock markets tank

As prices rise

As layoffs cut across every demographic

As we careen toward hell in a handbasket…

The oligarchs will pivot and say:

“Of course there was going to be a market correction. This was inevitable.”

Yeah. They forgot to mention that in advance. 🙄

They don't have enough troops here to stop everyone if martial law is declared.

They'd have to use national guard and local cops.

Blue state guards will probably stand down.

That leaves cops

Work on them now. Make sure Blue city cops are loyal to mayors not Trump. Check them all.
