Age UK London campaigns on behalf of older Londoners. We campaign to make London an age-friendly city. That means accessible and affordable transport, more public toilets, fighting pensioner poverty and digital exclusion.
Age UK London are proud to coordinate the London Loo Alliance. We're so grateful to all the Alliance members who helped make the #WorldToiletDay actions on Wednesday possible!

We're excited to share more content soon 👀
Some fantastic photos from the Alliance's toilet inspections on #WorldToiletDay 2025.

A big thank you to everyone who braved the cold to help amplify our call for better public toilet provision on the TfL network.

More content to come👀

We look forward to seeing the toilets at Morden Station open soon @londonlooalliance.bsky.social
Happy #WorldToiletDay

The @mertonlibdems.bsky.social have campaigned with many local groups including @ageuklondon.bsky.social and More Loos for Merton for toilets to be installed at Morden Station. Sadly not quite ready yet but looking forward to the TfL opening ceremony when it happens.

But all-in-all, a good start on the toilet front (station accessibility not withstanding). I'm looking forward to TfL keeping up the momentum – or even doing more – whilst taking pride providing transport - and toilets - for London. 🥳
Thanks @ageuklondon.bsky.social for phenomenal organisation!

Great @bbclondon.bsky.social piece on bank branch closures in London. Closures are leading to financial exclusion for many older Londoners and there are far too few banking hubs being set up. 🧵(1st video of 2)

Thank you @krupesh.co.uk for raising the issue of step-free stations, especially for Outer London. Step-free stations are vital to making the capital's transport network accessible for all, including older Londoners 🚉
At #MQT, I raised the need to make transport more accessible in Outer London.

We need more step-free stations so that everyone can travel with greater ease and I'm glad to see feasibility studies progressing for lifts at Willesden Green, South Harrow and Canons Park.

I’m proud of our Pension Credit campaign, but too many Londoners are still missing out on vital support.

That's why City Hall is working to reach even more Londoners as we build a better, fairer city for everyone.

Thank you @london.gov.uk for supporting the successful Pension Credit campaigns, that have made a real difference to the lives of older Londoners on low incomes.
I’m proud that my Pension Credit campaign has helped older Londoners unlock £40m in unclaimed support.

Too many Londoners are still missing out. I’m urging Londoners to use City Hall’s Cost of Living Hub to check their entitlements to benefits: www.london.gov.uk/programmes-s...
