Pleased to hear from the TfL Commissioner yesterday at the Budget and Performance Committee that the expectation to have the rolling stock replaced on the Bakerloo Line is still by the end of this decade. 🚆

Sadiq Khan's first overseas visit as Mayor was to India. He reopened London offices in Mumbai and Delhi, previously closed by Boris Johnson.
In 2023 India overtook the USA in terms of Foreign Direct Investments in London. Hopeful that the Mayor's trip to Africa will yield a similar impact.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have now officially moved their headquarters to Wembley Park in Brent. They treated a packed Boxpark Wembley audience of 1,000 people from across the Borough to an amazing concert event this evening.

Quite a shock to still see Tories attacking Labour for high taxes when their record in Government tells a completely different story. It's worth noting their record on Corporation tax, Council Tax and year on year income tax threshold freezes raising taxes to a peacetime high.

Great to be at the Mayor of London Adult Learning Awards where Brent based London School of Science and Technology picked up the Distinguished Provider Award. Humbling to hear from so many who have trained and progressed themselves to get qualifications and a job through City Hall funded schemes.
