THIS. It's difficult to describe but when I have an art idea in my head, it simply will not go away until I sit down and actually make it. It doesn't matter if it's drawing or writing or refinishing furniture - that itch to create is inescapable and must be indulged, if only to keep myself sane.
Every artist I’ve ever known has this itch to create that won’t go away until they create. They have to do it.
It’s why I know the “finally, someone like me can make art” AI users are full of shit. What they really mean is “finally, a way to get social media likes without hard work”.

The campaign that brought about this ruling was funded by JK Rowling by the way. So if you're still buying Harry Potter merch or contributing financially to JKR in any way, I'll block you. There may be no ethical consumption under capitalism, but this is one boycott that's easy to take part in.
The UK Supreme Court has unanimously decided that the definition of sex under the Equality Act 2010 refers solely to biological sex, and does not include people with a Gender Recognition Certificate.

I'm on the east coast rn so it's officially International Asexuality Day! ❤️ I have been doing a LOT of reflecting on myself and this year I feel comfortable being open that I absolutely exist on the Ace spectrum. Where on the spectrum I'm still figuring out, but it's something I've embraced. 🥰
