I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

I continue to be amazed at what I always thought was common sense and then meeting people who just don’t think that. Like cups don’t go in the dishwasher upright, right?

Because people in our area are so basic when ordering Thai food, the crispy garlic chicken at our local spot is $3 more than everything else in that section of the menu. They know you’re gonna order it anyway so may as well make a bit more profit

Wow LAX was not the worst to go through customs and re-do security. They also dont even need our passport when re-entering. They just use the facial recognition that they say is optional and they delete after boarding
