Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government.

No one has heard from you in 97 days.

As vigil, I’m posting a photo (or video) of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

Not taking anything away from Senator Padilla because he was treated atrociously

But I JUST want to remind everyone that the Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, a Black woman, was just indicted for just asking questions at an ICE detention center in her state

Keep that same energy of support for her

My goal has been to make Illinois the best state to raise a family — that starts with kids having access to what they need so they can focus on learning and growing.

Illinois was among the first states to implement SUN Bucks, and this year is no exception.

Wars aren’t over when they’re over. America’s conflicts keep killing people long after the guns fall silent. Just how many more people die may depend, in part, on the Trump administration’s decisions in the weeks and months ahead.

It is for everyone! Not just journalism students.

In fact, my first Race, Media and Global Affairs class at @columbiasipa.bsky.social only had two journalists. The rest were from various backgrounds/ industries.

It is mostly a history/current affairs course. No complicated theory.
Is your class just for current journalism students? Or would it be ok if a nurse who always wanted to write take the class?

They’re not going to get out of this by playing semantics.

Sending detailed information about an upcoming military strike on unclassified channels (and even to the wrong guy) is wrong, reckless, and obviously a threat to American troops.
