“Suspect is white male, brown hair, wearing black body armor over blue shirt and blue pants and may misrepresent himself as law enforcement.”

Once ICE started detaining people without identification, it became inevitable that random violent people would misrepresent themselves as law enforcement.

every person involved in this needs to be in prison
“One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, ‘I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.’ I believed him. *** He “began to whimper,” as his head was roughly shaved, “folding his hands in prayer as his hair fell.” He “asked for his mother & cried as he was slapped again.”

Arresting someone without charge, explanation, or due process to silence dissent is unconstitutional. This type of thing happens in dictatorships, not America.

You don’t have to agree with Mahmoud Khalil to defend his rights—if his freedoms can be taken by the Trump administration, so can yours.

American Jews have been pivotal in the battle for civil and constitutional rights, which makes it particularly cynical and loathsome that their alleged interests would be used as an excuse to attack civil liberties.

Much of the new form of post-MAGA right-wing antisemitism is going to repeat the same old tropes about Jews as rootless cosmopolitan degenerates, but will conscript Israeli Jews on the “good” side of people victimized by those dastardly Jews. Groups like the ADL are unprepared to talk about this.
Steve Bannon: "The people of Israel got to understand something. The number one enemy to the people in Israel are American Jews that do not support Israel and do not support MAGA. Okay, MAGA and the evangelical Christians and the traditional Catholics in this country have Israel's back..."

One of the biggest successes of the Israeli pro-democracy protest movement in 2023 was reclaiming the Israeli flag. The Israeli right lost it over this and alienated itself from the flag in response. Publicly owning the flag, whether you like it or not, is actually valuable.

I deleted Twitter from my phone in November 2022 when El0n took over the platform. I know that kind of speech slowly, insidiously seeps into your brain. It changes your reality...radicalization by 1,000 cuts. Proud to see more orgs abandon the venue of 'lashon hara', of hateful, divisive rhetoric
INBOX: A group of Jewish organizations — including the Union for Reform Judaism, the largest Jewish denomination in the U.S. — are quitting Twitter/X, saying it "has become a platform that promotes hate, antisemitism, and societal division."

Uniting against Trump’s legislative agenda is good politics because it is good policy. Democratic opposition to Trump’s tax bill drove Trump’s approval ratings to what was then the lowest levels of his administration, helping spark one of the largest blue waves in recent history.

Watched The Birdcage tonight for the first time. Maybe one of the most horrific and offensive plots ever to make it to the screen? Like, what am I missing? I hated this movie

Today, #Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols takes office. 100+ years after the Tulsa Race Massacre, the first-ever Black mayor will lead the city through a new period of reconciliation and opportunity. I'm rooting for and actively working toward his success!

Many Tulsa Democrats have shifted to registered Republicans to influence closed-primaries. Only way to impact most state races.

OK is also one of the only states that voted Sanders-Trump in the 2016 presidential primaries.
