As you’re preparing for your Thanksgiving meal, remember the skilled work it took to get that food to your grocery store.

Tell us your favorite Thanksgiving dish, and we can share some of what we know about the work behind the ingredients.

The entire Republican party is united behind this guy and his violent buffoonery. How anybody continues to vote for these people is a mystery to me. Is it that important to you that kids don't learn how to read? That people go hungry and sick? That Marxist lesbians get put in their place?
Q: Do you agree that the mayor of Chicago and governor of Illinois should be in prison?

MIKE JOHNSON: Should they be in prison? I'm not the attorney general. I'm not following the day to day on that

Trump and Robert F. Kennedy's announcement about Tylenol and autism will have tons of negative implications for women's health. But it will also return society to when people blamed unloving mothers–aka "refrigerator mothers– for their autism.

Opinion | Don’t let RFK, Jr. make you feel guilty for having autistic children
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., continues to sow discord and disinformation about autism and characterize autistic people like me as nothing but burdens.

The Constitution is a living promise, meant to protect the people when power overreached. On Monday, the justices decided it doesn't apply to everyone.

Removing a black 4-star general at Secretary of Defense and replacing him with a white talk-show is the perfect example why DEI is essential. It's not about hiring unqualified minorities, it’s about foiling the majority's habit of hooking up under qualified mediocrities of their own caste.

The CBP One app was launched in Oct. 2020. Who was president during that time, folks?
Many migrants who entered the U.S. using an app introduced by the Biden administration have been told their legal status would end seven days after the date on their notice. If they failed to leave voluntarily, they would face deportation, the notices said.
They Followed the Rules. Now Thousands of Migrants Are Told, ‘Leave.’
The Biden administration allowed 900,000 people to use an app to schedule appointments to cross the border. Emails over the last few days told them to leave or face deportation.

The congressional switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. This number can connect you to both the House of Representatives and the Senate offices.
Why? Because if Trump can legally say “We can’t bring him home” without having to prove it, that means he doesn’t have to bring anyone home. And if he doesn’t have to bring anyone home, he can send anyone there forever. END/

My name is __, zip code __. I'm calling as your constituent to express alarm at the Abrego Garcia case. Trump is openly defying the Supreme Court by not bringing Garcia back. If Trump can do this, then he is unquestionably a dictator and American self-governance is over. What can we do to stop this?
The crisis is here. Call your electeds and tell them if Trump can do this with impunity, then he is unquestionably a dictator and the American experiment in self-governance is over.
I had been doubtful that we were going to have a "this is the crisis moment" with Trump, as opposed to "everything about this is a destructive catastrophe."

But the Abrego Garcia case is the crisis moment.
