Petition addressed to @coe.int to clarify what the CEFR means by 'standard' and whether the term refers solely and exclusively to normative [Modern Standard] Arabic, or else to any native Arabic in relation to its more unique/less common varieties.

Another Lebanese Arabic loanword:
بَنّد، تْبَنَّد
bannad, tbannad

to ban, to get banned

e.g.:
bannadūni 3a Facebook
tbannad ḥsēbi 3a Insta

What’s cool about it is that it’s borrowed from the past tense form of the English verb "to ban" in order to get the productive trilateral root b n d!

I can't see how this meaning could've developed from the Arabic root to be honest.
In Italian, they say "andare in tilt" to express a similar meaning..
So I guess this word might come from the TILT error mechanism in pinball machines! When triggered, the whole machine stops working! Wild if true!

Lebanese Arabic equivalent:

تَلَّت، بيتَلِّت، مْتَلِّت أو مْتَلَّت

tallat, bitallit, mtallit/mtallat

e.g.:
l computer ʕam bitallit
raasi mtallit l yowm (I'm lagging; I can't think straight today)
Egyptian Arabic loan word of the day:

هنّج

hannig, imperf. biyhannig

to freeze, be janky (of computer), from English "hang" apparently

E.g.:

الكمبيوتر بيهنج
ek-kombyūtar biyhannig

The computer is freezing up/being janky.
