So, to re-cap, if
🟢left, then open the face more
🟢right, then close the face more
🟢on target (but you don't like the curve amount), then swing more in the direction of the curve
🟢then repeat the process

By following these simple rules, you'll eventually calibrate your desired shot type without the need for a launch monitor.

it means your path is too much to the right....

and you need to swing more left

For example, if your shots are on-target but all have a big left curve to get there (and you want to straighten it out)...

If your shots are on-target, but you don't like how they curve to get there, then swing more in the direction of the curve.

Conversely, if your shot pattern is too far to the right, you are presenting the face too open for your current club path.

In well-struck drives/iron shots, if your shot pattern is too far left, it simply means your face is too closed (at impact) for your given club path.
