Had a player hitting thin shot patterns. Came to me for a lesson to try and fix them.

You’ll hate what I told him, but I think it’s worth exploring……

Most golfers are incredibly good at changing impact variables

They just really, and I mean REALLY, suck at knowing which ones to change

Identification is key - which is why I created a 3-part mini course showing you exactly how to do this

Golfers - did you know....

If you present the club path at -4 degrees and face angle square to the target, a;

🟢100 yard wedge will finish ≈2.5 yards right
🟢160 yard 7-iron will finish ≈10 yards right
🟢240 yard driver will finish ≈45 yards right

There are 3 main technical faults that can occur on the #golf course
🔴striking the turf in the wrong place (or not at all)
🔴missing the sweet spot
🔴presenting the face too open/closed for the given path

you'd better have fixes for all of the above BEFORE you even need them 👇

Most obvious (yet under-utilized) golf hack for improvement.

1. find out what costs you the most on the golf course
2. dedicate your practice to improving that

as wildly obvious as it is, I bet 90% of you are not doing that.

Amateurs always complain of inconsistency.

Yet, their scores can often be as consistent as the pros.

Don't chase consistency - chase getting better.

Golfers often overlook micro-mechanics because they don't know how to train them

When issues arise, such as a mis-strike, they tend to make unnecessarily big changes to their swings

This leads to disruption and inconsistency

Learn to control micro-techniques through intention

What reason stops you changing your golf swing?
July 20, 2025 at 7:20 PM
The swing direction can be different to the club path.

The ball experiences the club path, and responds to this.

If the ball is on a part of the arc that is farther back (red), the path will be more to the right, and vice versa.
