Tesla has approved Elon's 1 trillion dollar stock option plan on the logic that if he leaves the company cannot survive but let me ask you how are they a leader in autonomous vehicles?

Waymo is growing at 26x every 2 years.

The last I heard Elon had 26 cars operating in Austin

Welcome to the age of AI where these kinds of breakthroughs are going to happen all the time because remember AI research can now do 365 years of human research in one year.

6 months of human work in 12 hours.

So 1 year of scientific research in one day.

That's 365 years worth of scientific research per year.

Well that could change everything.

And it's only getting faster.

Real time inflation 2.55% pretty much where we started the year.

At what point do we admit that the tariff inflation was a risk that did not materialize?

One year? 2 years? 3 years?

Are we doomed to Pearl clutching over inflation forever? 🤣

Here is the specific Mackenzie report.

At least the most important charts showing AI adoption is growing at companies who are using it for more purposes and each purpose is generating more tokens.

Where is the bubble?

At what point do we have to admit that big numbers do not a bubble make?

The MIT study everyone misquotes says 67% of businesses who buy AI software instead of trying to make it themselves make money Wharton says it's about 74% that make money and now 90% of companies are using AI for at least one task.

But let's just call it a bubble 😂

AI hiring continues to boom traditional job hunting is not working and neo clouds which are data centers specifically designed for AI are the new hotness.
November 13, 2025 at 4:28 AM
Goldman Sachs base case is 2% per year higher stock returns than vanguard which I am highly skeptical that they actually believe this but at least they're not telling people to be 70% bonds.

I consider that outrageous alarmism on the part of vanguard.

It turns out AI is not the cause of the week job market because the least AI intensive jobs are the ones that have weakened the most.

It is a secular decline created by business uncertainty.

Supreme court overturning IEEPA tariffs would go a long way to reducing that uncertainty.

This is shocking data from Bank of America but wonderful news because consumer spending has apparently been accelerating for five consecutive months.

It is not just AI spending propping up this economy.

By the way this spending is not just from the rich it is across the board.

Real time inflation is 2.5% but rent growth is 0.8%.

Wait a minute the motel 6 in Duluth Minnesota is $300 per night... And that was the cheapest motel in the city!
November 13, 2025 at 4:07 AM
Well this is surprising.

Pleasantly surprising though because this is helping to keep America's economy vibrant.

Congratulations Denmark on having the lowest corruption in the world and the best democracy.

AI shopping is the biggest revenue source potentially for open AI as they try to create that agentic intern that cost $2,000 per month.

With over 1.65 trillion dollars in commitments So far they need every penny they can get.

Plus debt and equity funding.
November 13, 2025 at 4:03 AM
Wall Street journal had a great article about the financing deals from Open AI Meta and XAI.

Here are the terms they got.

Not surprisingly the meta deal is a plus rated The Oracle deal is BBB And the XAI loan is not rated at all but would surely be speculative.

Last week this was 5.7% and the week before that it was 5.2% remember this is part of the Dallas Fed weekly economic index which comes out on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. eastern.

Last week it was 2.5% and the week before that was 2.2% based on this slight improvement I would expect 2.6%.

Ben runs the numbers on the new 50-year mortgage.

I will be interested to see what the interest rates on those are.

No one actually pays off that lung of a mortgage what happens is the house is sold and that means you need higher rates because of prepayment risk

The problem with a 50-year mortgage it will only reduce your payment a little and you will not build any equity for a long time like a decade.

What does it saying is that since 1990 generally young people have had 3.8% higher unemployment than the average for everyone today it is 3.4% meaning no young people today are actually better off than they have been on average since 1990.

This is fact... Not opinion not vibes not anecdotes.

When earning season began they were expecting 7% earnings growth and we're at 14.6% and climbing by the week with Nvidia left to report next Wednesday.

Pushing earnings growth to 15%.

I would not have guessed this.
