My book Ramping Up Rights aims to arm disabled people with our history and how we fought, so that we can still fight today. The gov and media want disabled people to feel isolated, because we are so strong when we come together - and that terrifies them.

And the reality is that many of us do this for years before eventually having to stop, because we have reached the limit of what we can cope with.
But we still don’t get to choose what we do or when, because stopping work doesn’t stop the disabilities ruling our lives.

The people who are making those claims despite significant evidence of the contrary from evidence, reports, and what our government are doing, are lying and harming disabled people.

Like… If you really think that being anti-trans is about protecting women’s rights and safety, why one earth do you think that basically all far right, misogynistic men hold that view?

It’s totally illogical to try and dismiss this as “coincidence”
