Very bad hospital “sleep” overnight, I keep forgetting this is by far the biggest surgery I’ve had, so it’s going to take a bi longer… I’m usually up and walking around by now but not this time.
All the staff are amazing though I couldn’t ask for kinder people.

Almost had a total fuck-up, the booking team had put me down for the wrong operation…!!
Luckily the surgeon managed to sort it as he was angry at it too..!!
Going down to theatre soon for the spinal block then operation… probably a long one, let’s see…!

Not going to lie, I’m shitting it about my surgery. It’s a big op and lots of other things make it very tricky.
Trying to ignore it until it happens, but with travelling tomorrow and having to have a ton of laxatives today… feeling awful whilst being nervous isn’t a good mix.

Just because we don't currently know the cause(s) for certain conditions or symptoms, it doesn't mean that there isn't one.
It just means we haven't found it yet... And we may never do so given how complex bodies are.
