And if they are autistic? “You thought you were trans but it’s actually autism”? Do they assume that autistic people can’t think or make decisions about their own bodies? Or are autistic kids thought to be super easy to influence (?!?!) and so need to be rescued from the evils of gender ideology?

meanwhile kids who need autism assessments so they can get accommodations are on long waiting lists, right?
when you're assessing in order to exclude, dismiss and infantalize suddenly it's easy

Bridget Phillipson was an undergrad when the GRA passed. That's OK. I'm only slightly older.
What it points towards, something I've said in council meetings before: if the GRA has been in force for decades, but you've only noticed it in the last couple of years, maybe trans people aren't the issue?
