Despite the loss, two major positive developments for the Canadiens recently.

Also, you asked a lot who on the blue line is going to get traded now. I answer that in this Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

Call of the Wilde: Montreal Canadiens trounced by the Colorado Avalanche - Montreal | Globalnews.ca
The Montreal Canadiens went down 7-2 to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. But fans shouldn't dwell on the score. Recent developments point to real opbriportunities for the team.

Canadiens may not get a result here today. Looks like Blackwood is in the mood.

However, this is a wagon they're playing, and they're not looking second best.

Confidence can come out of a loss too should it be that's the way it goes

#Habs Mike Matheson on contract

the matheson contract is good. in two years, it is going to take up almost the same percentage of the cap as his current deal. great work from the front office and it’s really encouraging that matheson wants to stay and win here. the culture they’ve built is working.

The vets came through, you know, the 26, 24, and 22 year olds, as the Canadiens came back to win in Utah.

The Wilde Cards is a quarter mark report card in this Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

It's baffling to me how especially in the playoffs flagrant penalties can be ignored entirely and result in goals and that's fine but heaven forbid you're a few millimeters offside way before a goal is scored and that's enough to wipe out a goal. Why is that the priority?
Yes by the rules that's how it works blah blah blah, it is still baffling stupid that a difference of a few millimeters that had no effect on the play can overturn a goal on review

So crazy idea time. EP40 to the habs in a deal similar to what got us Laine. We got somewhere in the vicinity of 27 million in cap space if we don't re-sign Laine. A Demidov extension only kicks in after Gallagher and/or Anderson are off the books. That leaves Matheson, Bolduc, and Dach to sign.
