the hardest part about being trans is being forced to accept that your family probably kinda sucks, whereas if you're cis you can likely tolerate only seeing your lead-poisoned uncle a few times a year because "oh he's family". we don't really get the comfort nor convenience of cognitive dissonance.

I was making a new Fallout 3 character and found the name Synne in a list of "Old English" girl names, and I liked it since it started with the same letter of my dead name lol
