Geeky about books, film, & musicals. There’s always a song in my head.
Delighted by: Judy Garland, Emma Thompson, Stephen Sondheim, David Tennant, Terry Pratchett, Jinkx Monsoon. BE KIND, or at least don't be a dick.

No, that’s millennials. Gen Z are the ones who are too entitled, or too busy scrolling on their phones to shop, or something.

Ooh poor you; I have it too! I can feel the rattling when I breathe. In the middle of the night (after a particularly violent coughing fit) my spouse piped up, “Please call the doctor tomorrow”… but they always just say to wait it out, so I don’t know what to do! 😭

The only Kubrick films I like are the ones he made before he got too big and thought he was an untouchable genius. Paths of Glory was the best thing he did.

Same. 😭😭 I hope it’s not true.

I thought the same thing and came here to see if anyone else thought it too! It’s exactly what Oti did at her last elimination, when she’d already planned to leave but hadn’t announced it.

Oh ffs. At this point the list of celebs we can still trust and respect is shorter than the ones we can’t. 🙄

I’m one of the “many books on the go at once” people, but if I was a “only one at a time person” like you, I’d seriously consider buying the ebook of the book I was in the middle of, so I didn’t have to stop reading it. Or see if you can get the ebook from your library!

I always have AT LEAST two, but usually more like five books on the go at once.

Alexis: You are taking that coat off the SECOND the music starts! 🤣🤣🤣

No. The chief problem is, AI is literally A TOOL FOR UNLEARNING. The more you use it, the worse you get at whatever it is you’re using it for. It’s the opposite of educating, it’s uneducating. 2/2

As is usual with me, I barely remember a thing from this movie I watched less than a year ago. 😂

The low expectations might be the key 🤣🤣🤣 Or perhaps you just have to be in the right silly mood.

You might have to raise me from the dead with that trumpet if I get any sicker. 🤣🤣 Raised incorruptible!

He absolutely agrees with Glinner. He wouldn’t be able to say how brave and wonderful he is otherwise.

The comedian of choi$€ for reputation laundering efforts by both Saudi Arabia and Israel pinning his flag quite voraciously to Graham Linehan here...

And just in case anyone wasn’t aware, this is the man Jimmy Carr says is “brave” for saying what he does about trans people. Including punching them in the face, and encouraging others to do the same.

Next up I might do 1938, since I only have two left there: The Citadel and Test Pilot. Although the fact that Bringing Up Baby wasn’t nominated is criminal.
