I've been writing about this for a while now (one of my ongoing book projects is about ecofascist representations of animals). In my view, the rightwing responses to Covid, as a climate driven crisis, were a preview of what's to come.
Eco fascism is increasingly being injected into areas of the far rights already pernicious messaging around immigration and things like the great replacement theory. It Is going to quickly become a massive force that we will have to be dealt with
