if you feel compelled to help and are brave enough to go outside there are so many unhoused people without access to shelter, PPE, and fresh water. masks and water bottles will go a long way right now.

It blows my mind every day. I think a lot of it also has to do with preconceived notions almost everyone has from all the myths they've heard their entire life about trans people. They think they already know everything, so why listen

today a white cis man yelled at me for correcting him when he misgendered a (cis) woman and two cis women met with me, listened to exactly what I needed, made a plan to get it for me without having me do more work, and followed up when they said they would. Girls really are the backbone of everthing

Today a grown-ass HR professional got angry and aggressive with me when he referred to a woman with they/them pronouns and I said "oh Susie's pronouns are actually she/her"
He was so offended that in addition to not wanting to be misgendered, I also don't want to misgender others 😬
