At ABCTales it's taken as read that Turlough's Monthly digest - a sort of 'Letter from Bulgaria', is funnier than Alastair Cooke's from America. This one is particularly diverting, not least because of the #badinage in the comments. It's today's Pick of the Day.

Our Pick of the Day is the start of something dark and thrilling. It’s the first part of Lily by Soulfire77. Why don’t you read and share it too?

Further to previous posts re- one of the Works in Progress. I keep finding bits that are ok. I just need to join them up better. A different kind of "joined-up writing", that.

#POD today is Soulfire77's ongoing Sci Fi piece that grips from part one. The Harvest Floor (Ch.Three) is plausible & convincing, with echoes of Soylent Green, Do give it a try and share if you like it too fellow ABCTalers.

Well done to 'Ivan the OK-ish' on all 5 parts of The Ride. Nicely written, despite ending up with one of the last things anyone might imagine happening in the Mersey Tunnel. abctales.com/story/ivan-ok-… (but do start at Part 1, obviously!).
