There are so many superb books I'd like to acquire for translation but alas cannot afford to at the moment... but the big publishers continue churning out same old celebrity or trendy dross
Just read an article on what agents have been buying. How depressing, like scrolling through Netflix thumbnails and wondering how the hell these films got made.
Then I see what amazing books indie publishers are producing / indie bookshops are stocking and wonder how I’ll read them all.
