It's like turkeys voting for Christmas but, as with Brexit, we can't call them stupid.
I'm starting to find that incredibly difficult
The super-rich rightwing are pouring money into Reform. Do ordinary voters really think their aim is to even out social inequality and make their lives better? Do they think they’re doing it so Farage invests in infrastructure and public services? Ffs. Democracy being beaten to death in plain sight.

December’s #FullMoon is the Cold Moon and Oak Moon. In this lunar month the #Yule All-Heal rite was kept: on its sixth day white-robed Druids cut mistletoe from the oak with a golden sickle. Given to each home, it was said to deepen prayers, stir dreams and seal a kiss of peace.

Pleased to discover that slightly misnaming the national chess championship you won as a school child is a much more serious offence than repeatedly racially abusing your fellow pupils and telling them they should go to the gas chamber

My favourite is " it was 50 years ago (it wasn't) there is no way they remember." " I can categorically say I did not racially abuse anyone 50 years ago." what a absolute weapon farage is!!!

It’s bizarre that all this (public) money is held in reserve by MATs. It is to ensure MATs can pay their bills- but it seems a strange way to run education. Public funding straight into a business model…

And finally, as MATs are public sector institutions (not private companies), they should abide by the Nolan principles, be open to scrutiny and publicaly accountable for the decisions they make. I don’t think it is arrogant to question the decisions made- I think it is our responsibility to do so.

The thing is that running a MAT is a team effort-it doesn’t depend on one person at the “top”. I agree with Mark- I am sure that someone equally as successful could be found.

In a similar way, I don’t think commercial companies should be making millions from schools, selling statutory products.

3 Dec: On winter nights the fairy queen and her elves polish holly leaves to make them shine. The prickly leaves wound their tiny hands as they work, but they have no care, for every drop of fairy blood turns into a bright red berry, adorning the holly for the #Christmas season!
