Illinois is the nation's number one soybean producing state — it's what made us the perfect home for the Soybean Innovation Lab.

Thanks to Donald Trump, the lab will close on April 15.

Innovation lost, jobs lost, and education lost.

The US Administration has been extremely generous over many years, & it is within its rights to decide what it supports, and to what extent.

But the abrupt cuts in funding from the US are putting at risk decades of progress in various health programmes across the world.

In February, one nonprofit got waivers for its programs supporting refugees in war-torn regions.

On Wednesday, the waivers were terminated.

In Somalia alone, its clinics served 1,200 patients/day.

On Thursday, all those clinics closed.

Research into curing cancer, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's all delayed.

And ultimately it won't just cost us advancements in life-saving research, it will cost us lives.

Biden was hiring more Air Traffic controllers because as a 2023 NYT article warning about the risk of mid-air collisions said "the most acute challenge, The Times found, is that the nation’s air traffic control facilities are chronically understaffed."
Trump offered them the chance to resign.
I assume Democrats will be too polite to politicize this and then MAGA will blame Biden and that will be the story.
