Once when I was 5 we had rented Where’s Waldo for the NES, and it wouldn’t boot up. And I had the idea to connect it to the Game Genie cartridge, load that up and exit out. Lo and behold, the game started up. And never in my life since have I ever gone without thinking I’m kind of a fucking genius.

Finally saw Fantastic Four. Loved it. Real stakes and real thought put behind it, and the world is delicious to sit in. If Superman was like the best cheeseburger you’ve had in a long long time, FF was like a salmon pasta dish you didn’t expect to find on vacation and can’t stop thinking about.

It’s a terrible bill. It will literally kill people. The most vulnerable among us will suffer as the wealthiest benefit. It’s perverse. I wish there were something I could do. But alas, I am only a U.S. Senator from Alaska whose “no” vote would kill the bill. So I voted yes. You get it.

My two biggest pet peeves are when people answer a multiple choice question with “yeah that’s fine” like I’m supposed to know what you chose, and also when people try to tell you how to make the perfect s’more. I really can’t explain the second one as well but just like, shut up.

Take all the wins you can these days. I just sat in my car eating saucy nugs for lunch and didn’t get anything on my clothes. No win is too small.

My first editing gig for IGN! Had a ton of fun adding some little graphical bells and whistles to this rad speedrun from Deceptix_. It was awesome learning about how welcoming and collaborative the speedrunner community is. That's the kind of stuff you love to see.
