In nature, the term avivore refers to a flying creature that hunts other flying creatures and looking over this finely crafted +2 greater striking shortbow, emblazoned with the wings of a predator, gives the sense that you could wield the same power. The limbs of this bow seem to resemble a stylized depiction of the movement of air. The string is composed of an unusual, but extremely springy material allowing for quick shots at fast moving targets.
This bow is especially dangerous to flying creatures. When you critically succeed on a strike against a flying creature during an attack made with this bow, the creature momentarily loses control and falls 25 feet, taking appropriate fall damage if they come in contact with a solid object.
