The 14th Amendment to our Constitution establishes that when you are born in the United States, you are a citizen of our country. Because our state filed a pending case against President Trump on this issue, Coloradans are protected from today’s SCOTUS ruling.

I voted for today’s War Powers Resolution to prevent the United States from creeping into another war in the Middle East without explicit Congressional authorization.

The decision to go to war with Iran is too important for any President to make alone.

The new Pope didn't tweet once in 2024. In 2025, he's posted 5 times, in which he:

- Criticized JD Vance's views on Catholicism and Jesus
- Posted an article opposing Trump's immigration policies
- Retweeted twice about the Pope's health
- Retweeted a criticism of Trump & Bukele's laughter at KAG.

How many Signal chats with sensitive information about military operations are ongoing within the Pentagon right now? Where else are war plans being shared with such abject disregard for our national security?

We need answers. Right now.

Soooooo we thinking old Pete was drunk or the job or what? It would be funny, if it wasn’t scary! Maybe we need some DEI (definitely earned it) hires to get this shit together because the incompetence is OVERWHELMINGLY problematic.

Republicans left us two foul choices intended to harm Americans and give the powers of Congress to Trump and Musk.

I’ll be voting NO on this fake CR.

We must focus our energy on the dangers of the MAGA Republican government which gave us this false choice.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.
