This was a great book. As a Black Gay Man it told so much of my story, despite being wholly unable to relate to being in a closet knit functional Queer positive family (mine was the OPPOSITE). His prose was heartfelt and wide open. I recommend.

I love with the ACA has done for people with pre-existing conditions. But.
Let's face reality, ACA 2013 was a different world. Since then Insurance Companies have learned how to game the system.
For the subsidized silver/94 and /87 plans, around ~15 % of taxpayer $ stays with ins comps!

#Gattaca is one of those films that I can watch ANYTIME, anyplace, and anywhere. A small budget sci-fi set in a not so distance, but not quite familiar, future is a masterpiece IMHO.
