Mark Flekken was supposed to be a safe, reliable pair of hands to replace Lukas Hradecky who was deemed error prone. But Flekken has made several high profile mistakes already, including this afternoon for St.Pauli‘s leveller. Not a great start to Flekken‘s Bundesliga return. #STPB04

Mark Flekken was supposed to be a safe, reliable pair of hands to replace Lukas Hradecky who was deemed error prone. But Flekken has made several high profile mistakes already, including this afternoon for St.Pauli‘s leveller. Not a great start to Flekken‘s Bundesliga return. #STPB04

Nick Woltemade is set to leave Stuttgart. Newcastle have agreed a club-record deal for Germany international. The fee differs in the English and German reports, but either way #VfB will receive a ginormous sum of money for a player signed on a free transfer from Werder Bremen just 12 months earlier.

Nice to see the Nelson Weiper contract dispute resolved as the forward pens a new Mainz deal (until 2029). With the likes of Weiper, Paul Nebel, and Brajan Gruda before them, the future is incredibly bright. #M05

Brilliant start to the season for Eintracht Frankfurt, in what was a very tough afternoon for visitors Werder Bremen. The hosts were more than worthy of the 4-1 scoreline, with new signings Ritsū Doan and Jonathan Burkardt impressing. But the stand-outs were Jean-Mattéo Bahoya and Can Uzun. #SGESVW
