Idk about elsewhere, but in Canada "sorry" is often used to merely indicate a desire to avoid conflict and move on. Maybe in the US it's more of a genuine apology which is why it's used less frequently there?

My favourite part of setting up a new, radically different OS, is that setting up my old services is like a flashback episode where I see all the various projects I've put together and modify their implementation so they run again in a new environment. #nixos

I have nixos in working-enough-order now to run as my regular os c:
There's still a few other scripts and programs I need to migrate over, but all the critical stuff's here now and I can watch jellyfin and play games with my save-games backed by git.

day 3 of #nixos. building duckstation, dolphin, and pcsx2 didn't work. Can't figure out the other 2, but dolphin's because my qt version's too new and dolphin hasn't pushed the fix to their standard releases.
idk how to build off qt6.9, nor how to build off a the developer versions of dolphin lol
