You will notice that Mark Cuban sees this as a boon for “entrepreneurs” when the initial comment was about inequality. Amazing ideas get quickly limited by a lack of capital and AI cannot purchases tools or other tangible items.

It can replace people though as Mark celebrates.
And we will be able to innovate and create more with less.

It's an entrepreneurs dream come true. What took paying a lot of people to do , someone can do them self.

And the tech is so advanced there will be applications and businesses we never imagined
Mark, please don't tow the ridiculous line that the only impact of AI will be more jobs. We will be able to do more with less. Decades of automation has increased productivity and increased inequality. Yes people lost jobs and got new ones. Many jobs paid less and were less secure.

Paprocki is very conservative and honestly, does not shy away from being supportive of Republicans.
UPDATE: Bishop Paprocki of the Diocese of Springfield is now calling for Trump to apologize.

So @schnorkles.bsky.social, this opens the door for a lot of GOP districts for 2026 even before tariffs are put into place.
So lets assume that FL-06 is a couple points of over-performance because of the special.

Lets say swing is more like... 12-14 points in house districts.

There are 100 GOP districts in play in '26.

In the future, schools may no longer offer sports if all students move to travel ball. Families & players may see travel ball as a better path forward & we know that they invest more money into travel ball.We already see major gaps in player abilities that makes kids quit

I tried to call his DC office and it just hung up after the message. I called his Springfield office and the message says to leave a message after the tone but there was no tone and his message just repeated.

Durbin is the Dem whip. If this passes, then he is responsible & he should be primaried.
Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

@socialistdogmom.bsky.social you mentioned on BtB this week about a new conspiracy theory where the sun was replaced. Where can I read more about that? I love getting a look into the minds of new conspiracy theories.

…But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.
Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets…

Always important to remember that more money is stolen by employers from their employees through wage theft than there are items stolen through shoplifting.

Only one of these crimes actually has the police going after it.

This could be helpful to anyone who has been denied a claim.
I don't know who needs to know this, but Pro Publica has an online thing that will format a letter to your US health insurance company to demand the records behind a claim denial. (which the insurance is then legally required to provide in most cases)

This is a good explanation of what a UBI can and cannot do based on Denver’s pilot program.
Because the below skeet went viral here, and people are arguing over it, I'm going to share some more info about it from a thread I did at the other place. I really need to just do an article about it but haven't done that yet. Until then, I hope readers find this thread useful. 🧵
Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.
