There seem to be some political scientists & philosophers who are just as dismayed by the present state of things as I am. But none of them take into account the rise to power of the global fossil fuel kleptocracy, which IMHO has determined most of what has happened.

Exactly. We are actually *encouraged* by funding bodies to hype up our research to get more "impact". But I get the impression the behavioural genetics stuff is calming down a bit.

Many years ago, universities started to call people "associate professor" in order to avoid giving them a job title that carried relative job security. There is/was some law that said if you had the same job title as someone else (e.g. Lecturer) you could not have a different employment contract.

I keep wondering whether these policies will eventually harm even the white racists that they are meant to appeal to. What will happen when migration is zero but living standards of less educated white people have not improved?
