I'm realizing he has Mamdani's incredible knack for getting back on message. It's just that the message is his ego.
Trump: We track Santa. We want to make sure that Santa is being good. We want to make sure that he's not infiltrated, that we're not infiltrating into our country a bad Santa. Santa loves Oklahoma like I do. You know, Oklahoma was very good to me in the election

Exciting!
UPDATE: We may see the first time English is displaced as the most popular language among Bluesky posters as soon as Americans head to sleep tonight.

Japanese users were close to achieving that feat at 7 am Eastern Time, and their activity is increasing at an exponential pace. This is remarkable.

I’m always having the opposite problem.
The number of times I’ve tried to say mariscos (seafood) and it’s come out moriscos (Muslims forced to convert to Christianity in Spain post 1492) is embarrassing, but I feel like @homophonous.bsky.social can at least appreciate it.

The US military faces a tight squeeze! With fewer people using *checks notes* Ohio-class nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines, it's lost more and more money. $1 trillion in the 12 months ending September alone.🤡

NYPD faces a tight squeeze! Fewer people want to be beaten down. Losing $12B.🤡

On Sunday, @60minutes.bsky.social pulled a segment on torture against US deportees in CECOT, El Salvador's mega prison.

Curious what the story said? Read HRW and @cristosal.bsky.social's report: www.hrw.org/news/2025/11...
US/El Salvador: Torture of Venezuelan Deportees
The Venezuelan nationals the US government sent to El Salvador in March and April were tortured and subjected to other abuses, including sexual violence.

Googled "died in ICE detention" under the News tab, and I knew it was bad, but not this bad. There are so many local news stories about people I hadn't even heard about yet.

Jesus Christ, this guy did everything so by the book he didn't even cross the border until he had his day in court and they still just black bagged him off to torture prison.
Detainee they are interviewing was a college student in Columbia. Waited in Mexico until he had a 2024 immigration interview in CA - a scheduled appointment - where he was told he was a danger to society. Claims he has no criminal record, never even got a traffic ticket. Was immediately detained

I don’t mean to sound extreme, but I don’t think we should have torture camps for people with criminal records either.

Some people see the glass half empty. Bari Weiss sees the glass half full of immigrants with a criminal history, and what about the ones who weren't convicted, they're still probably guilty anyway and just got off on a technicality, right?
