Tal, the younger one, sits on a wooden stool with a hand covering his tear strewn face, while Kaleras rests a comforting hand on his shoulder. A ladybug clad in an armor made of leaves and flower petals stands on a large white flower. They’re wielding magic wands, a spellbook and a shield made out of a seed husk. White war paint adorns their face and shield. They are casting fire spells against a horde of wasps. An illustration painted for Krystle Matar’s “Legacy of the Brightwash – Special Edition”. An elderly man sits on an armchair in front of a fire stove. He’s dressed in ratty clothes and holds a tea cup in his hand. His other hand is playing with a bullet. We’re in a pleasant forest setting, with lots of greenery and the sun peeking through the canopy. We see tree houses made of natural materials on the trees. A young, dark skinned elf is running madly towards the camera, laughing. He’s holding a chicken under one arm and a rope strung with strange berries in the other hand. A whole flock of chickens is following him, apparently crazy about the berries. The chaotic scene is being watched by two shocked bystanders.

'Entrancing Performance' made the cut for Infected by Art Vol.14!
This was the very last digital painting I did before moving entirely to traditional media.

We visited the Dog Care Clinic today - a beautiful facility that looks after 300+ street dogs from around Sri Lanka.

They get vaccinated & treated here, and even rehomed to people over 50 (those people are paid a wage to look after them).

Photo of a street puppy who I fell in love with. The puppies had their own area and were tumbling around being idiots. A photo of a dog in a plant pot. I don’t know why he was there, but he was nervous and clearly wanted to defend his pot. I also loved him and would take him home (with the pot). Just a shrine covered in street dogs, innit. They were all very friendly and sweet.

Queen Leony liked it when they lied and snuck around; she was thrilled by him and his various abilities, intrigued by the way his career was cloaked in secret even from her. When he came up with the idea of climbing up to her window, he’d only thought about the easy pleasure of seeing her eyes glitter with delight. And not about the weather.

My finished illustration from @paulscottcanavan.com Mastering Imaginative Realism mentorship. This was an incredible experience learning from Paul alongside some of the most amazing artists I've met and I am so thrilled with how this piece came out.
