@wmata.com The announcements in Pentagon City Station are so loud that the ding hurts my ears and the reverb makes the words nearly incomprehensible. Could you maybe turn them down?

@nytimes.com I was just reading your congestion pricing coverage and I have to say I’m impressed. I thought the affair with the Washington Post’s cartoonist was going to be the worst miscarriage of journalism this week, but you blew that right out of the water.

YIMBY policies are good because they lower rents, reduce emissions, and decrease inequality.

but there’s another reason that makes pro-housing policies even more urgent: if we don’t build ASAP, the Blue Wall will not be enough for Dems to win the presidency

@wsj.com if you want to understand the actual financial state of my generation, you can’t just adjust salaries for inflation based on the CPI. You need to look at post-rent take-home pay b/c rent has grown so much more than the rest of the CPI.

@techconnectify.bsky.social You should do a video about NEMA 5-20 plugs and receptacles. I feel like almost nobody (including appliance manufacturers) remembers that those exist

"If the macro-level purpose of an environmental study is to improve the environment, then what's the environmental impact of an environmental study that slows down much needed zero emissions transit?" 🎯
The first step of a transit project coming to fruition is often a study to determine feasibility and impacts. But what happens when we take too long to study a project, and how can we get out of study purgatory?
