I quit using twitter (12K followers) almost a year ago. My art sales have declined by +90%. It's been devastating.
I absolutely don't blame artists who still post there.
But if Bluesky wants to build communities, it needs to support (ie: share posts and buy stuff) & encourage artists who are here.

I have 14500 followers on twitter and I post lots of positive gentle stuff there I would dearly like to have that many here on Bsky but it might take years. As an artist who sells my work directly via the web I keep using twitter rather than starving but my goodness I wish I didn’t need to

As the friend in question here, I also endorse Brandon.
I went to college with Brandon Scott: he was an RA in my dorm my freshman year and he once confiscated my friend's bong and wrote him up. But I'm endorsing his candidacy for re-election anyway because I am a man of integrity and won't let personal biases creep in.
