Years ago artists came together to boycott Inktober & for very good reason.
It’s creator—besides plagiarising Alphonso Dunn—back then was super anti-digital art, excluding entries because they had pencil sketching & was then caught lightboxing all his inks.

A couple of months ago I made a poll of what I should do and folk wanted me to draw stuffs for myself. But like…I have no motivation. I used to draw it from spite(and simp energy ig but don’t feel much now I’m old now lol) but I don’t think it’s healthy or sustainable so like…welp 🤷 we’ll see.

this is why adult creators are really emphasizing that non-creators be the ones who contact paypal. Of all the paypros, PP is the most likely to act in a retaliatory manner towards individual accounts. If you dont make adult content or youre just a commissioner, you are able to help a LOT
Whenever I've called PayPal and brought up issues with adult content they have always asked me first if I'm engaging in selling it through my account. Paypal wants to know if it can target you when you question its policies.
I like how you, as a NSFW creator, need to seek permission - but doing so obviously puts you on their radar and risks getting shit-canned just for trying to be "legit" about it
