I'm a Watch Duty volunteer and have been watching as neighborhoods are destroyed and every possible comment about preparedness, etc has been made. I just want to touch on something I've not seen discussed much and that is preparedness training for your pets. Thread ensues...🧵

Close call this morning. The dog I was watching went charging out barking into a corner of the yard and I heard terrified chirping. Managed to call her off, and this little fledgling robin appears completely unharmed. Mom is watching out for and feeding the little tyke.

It is important to note that my kitten is NOT a Twilight fan. He is in fact cosplaying President Zelenskyy in an early role as a vampire in a crossover parody of Twilight and Office Romance. The vet informs me he needs to cut it out before he's six months old which seems odd but who am I to judge?
