These farm workers work under a UFW contract in a plant nursery in Tulare Country. They're sorting and trimming rootstock. Their wages start at $17.43/hr, w/a increase to $17.95/hr on January 1. They get a $3.00 bonus when the team completes 800 plants in a day. #WeFeedYou

Anyone should be able to wear a mask without being asked their reason. Masks reduce the likelihood of contracting an illness. It would be nice if people minded their own business.

I mask everywhere to reduce the chances of getting sick. If someone asks me if I’m sick (rare) I say no, I wouldn’t be here if I was - I’m trying not to get sick. I also understand why others may want medical privacy and answer otherwise. or they have to be out sick. diversity of tactics out there.
