Transport Fever is really fucking good, but I really wish they had curved station platforms. Most big through stations aren't straight, they curve around the huge cities. Its my big wish for TF3.

one common criticism about Hytale I fundamentally disagree with is that it needs ti be harder. While I do think there's balance adjustments that should happen and that AI needs to be tightened, the major criticism IMO comes from misunderstanding the core of the game.

Genuinely insane how Amazon fucked this game up. This may just about be the biggest fumble in MMO history.
I think the top priority for Hytale right now should be improving variety. Make different weapons you find do different thing, make creatures have more varied behaviours, make different foods do different stuff.

it's wild to me that in the leadup to launch, they focused the entire marketing for Hytale on how easy it is to mod the game and sorta, minimised how good the game is cos it's genuinely a really good game in general. Like are the modding tools cool? Yeah. But you really do not need them to have fun.

I see people talk about how grindy Hytale is but like, I don't see it? I have abundant materials at pretty much all the times. The early game was a bit heavier on it but once you get a good supply of iron and leather it's pretty chill.

I have spent all day playing Hytale, it did kinda rip my time away, I was intending to start on Crisis Core. Man its so much fun, like actually. It's like playing Minecraft for the first time again but better in basically every way.

Started a save on Hytale and so far it feels like a really polished Minecraft clone with stronger enemy design, better visuals, and much more fluid and fun combat. I'm into it.

A thing that's sad about FFXIV is that Final Fantasy games tend to offer a lot of cool and meaningful ways to build a character whereas FFXIV gives you none.

I am finally nearing the end of FF7 and oh boy if the story wasn't this good I would not still be playing this god damn game. But Cloud might genuinely be one of the strongest protagonist in video game history. The way he goes from a generic edgy mc to like, an actually compelling character is wild.

There's a lot of unearned flak aimed at british people, but the one thing everyone should actively, heavily, and relentlessly bully british people for is not rinsing soap off their dishes when they wash them. It is... grim.

I started my FF7 playthrough in 2023, and have been slowly but surely progressing through this game in bursts. I do not love the gameplay, the random encounters suck, the combat is very meh, there's a distinct lack of clarity in the environments.
