While I was at BioWare, EA *always* preferred Mass Effect, straight up Their Marketing team liked it more. It was modern. It had action. They never quite knew what to do with DA, and whenever DA outperformed ME, ME got the excuses. If you ask me, it was always just shy of the axe since DA Origins.

Wow.... this makes so much awful, shifty sense. It has seemed to me, from the outside, that there has been a preference for ME over DA. The launch of DATV and the residual layoffs seemed more of a hit job from inside than just a troll problem.

The one struggle of being on this med is that it is giving me a slightly increased anxiety (apparently normal when starting) so I’m supposed to stop coffee 😭 so now I have a withdrawal headache and anxiety 🤣 I’m trusting the process though. It will be worth it I’m sure 🤞

Very random and pretty TMI but I finally got a diagnosis from a psychiatrist and I am finally starting medicine for my mental health… this is day 1, and here is to a healthy mind! 🥹

I hope to feel relief soon, although, I know it takes a few weeks to notice a difference.

Is that some kind of inside joke? Because it seems mean. — Anonymous fan question dgaider Oh. Yes, I suppose it is an inside joke. In DAO Awakening, there was an item you could find—an old snow globe which commemorated the wedding of Cailan and Anora (as it said on a little plaque, according to the description). I think it was a gift item. Anyhow, this fan came to the BSN and raged about how this snow globe of Alistair and Anora’s wedding had clearly voided her DAO ending choice of marrying Alistair. How dare the game do that, Alistair was her one and true love, etc. etc. There were lots of ALL CAPS and exclamation points and angry words. My response was to suggest that, if she’d read the snow globe’s description very carefully, she would see that what the plaque actually said was “Alistair Never Loved You.” I now have a snow globe on my desk now which says exactly that, given to me by a fan at a con. It makes me smile.

The awful thing about me is that when I have a call with a client, the rest of the day is ruined for me. I’m paralyzed from focusing on anything else other than the upcoming call and after the call I’m exhausted from all this stress. 🫠 I was not made for consulting work
