I'm starting a GLP-1 this week. Just need to pick up my prescription. I'm way more nervous than I anticipated.

What a beautiful starship. Can't wait to see more of the USS Athena on Starfleet Academy.

Loved the use of opera underscoring in an episode that was, thematically, an opera itself—centered on forbidden love and conflicts of duty. “Beta Test” felt very much like a modern TNG episode.

The only "Gene's vision" complaints that I will accept about Starfleet Academy are those pertaining to visible zippers on the uniforms.

All my heart results (so far) have come back within normal ranges!

I had to wear a monitor for a couple of days, so they're going to analyze that next. 🤞🏻

If these two don't meet in Starfleet Academy, I'm at least hoping for an incredible novel adventure someday.

My favorite captains of this new era of Star Trek. I want them to meet so bad.

Star Trek is Delivering on Gene Roddenberry's Original Dream (Despite the "Outrage")
Despite some backlash online, new Star Trek show, Starfleet Academy, has remained true to Roddenberry's dream.

This right here hit me. This shows me that the Starfleet Academy writers get it. Immediately won me over

I've noticed Starfleet Academy has a lot of longer takes in the first two episodes. I'm really digging that. I hope it keeps up.

weird nerds online will fight over which star wars is shit or good or woke or based but they're all dumb as fuck

PEAK star wars is the 1985 "Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO" cartoon. janky animation, pulp scifi plots, 2 gay robots in situations, its great

Anyone have a recommendation for a "queer coded mystery novel with a strong female lead"? My wife is searching for the perfect book to read, so I told her I'd ask #Booksky ❤️

It's my fault for checking the Facebook comments on this post. 🙁

The comments are so hateful. Star Trek's social media should stand up for the new actors. Instead, they're thrown to the wolves

And here I thought this might be a slow year 😅

The naysayers of Starfleet Academy really get me. I've seen "critiques" (that's being generous) about character appearances to the shapes of the classrooms.

And yet again, a section of the fandom must learn it's okay for things to be different or not for them.
