You have to be extremely privileged to believe policy cannot, is not, broken by police.

Powerful words from Dahron. Surveillance does not keep us safe, we do. Investments in our communities do. Surveillance is about profit, control & incarceration. If those things kept us safe, we’d be the safest country in the world. How many groups of people have to be targeted before we say no?
We all want a safer Davidson County: for our families, for ourselves, for our communities all those for whom we care. But creating a trove of video data will prove temptation too great for those who have ends other than our safety... (1/3)
