I still wish the nuclear block here were more transparent. I’d love to know if a post is blocked because I blocked a person or the poster blocked the quoter or the replier got blocked by the OP.

Watching our people step up to protect each other is as inspiring yet frustrating as those “employees donates time off to co-worker with cancer” stories.
It’s great, but also we could/should/did set up a system to handle this shit and if it weren’t an utter failure this wouldn’t be necessary.

Not to dunk on this, because it’s understandable, but this is how media literacy fails happen. They saw their own feelings reflected in the two most prominent elements of the page (the photo, NOT AGAIN) and missed, for example, that the NOT AGAIN refers to “Minnesota Burning”, not the shooting.
I’m under no illusions about the true nature of any of the heavily militarized white supremacists groups that fall under the “law enforcement” umbrella but I still think there’d be benefits to one of them being ordered to stop another one of them.
