TRPV3 is a temperature-sensitive, ligand-gated ion channel known for its role in warmth perception.

It can be activated by heat (~ 38˚C) or by 2-APB, and we have explored both activation modes using APC with temp control.

Congrats to Prof Jamie Vandenberg who's been awarded a @nhmrc Investigator Grant to identify young people at risk of sudden cardiac arrest and develop better therapies for families with inherited heart arrhythmias. Vital work which could help prevent 1 in 10 Australian deaths.
