since “put them in a wood chipper” is bannable, some acceptable alternatives:

“prescribe them opiates, get them hooked, and then take away their health insurance”

“drone strike their boat and label them a cartel member on social media afterwards”

“pass draconian laws penalizing their existence”

Australia has sent military equipment to Ukraine because apparently Labor believes in the international "rule of law" and thinks badly of Russian aggression

But here we are, covertly sneaking in Russian oil

This is happening on SUNDAY! Unfortunately, after all his hard work, Captain Quoll won't be walking (see update below) but his team will be. They're aiming to raise $35K & are just under $25K atm.

Let's give them a big push! Go you good Quolls! 🙌

Strong agree. I've already gone off 4 year terms (latest case: Queensland). Most of the arguments made for them just don't play out.

That said, 2-year terms in the US House of Representatives are clearly too short.
The UK is the perfect example of too many profoundly stupid, lazy people in politics. They have 5 year terms, and the political class complain that they need 6 to do anything. They have 4 years remaining before an election and they're already shitting the bed about leadership

'Settler' must be the most egregious fake descriptor in current use

Europeans in colonial Australia were 'settlers', not invaders ... a lie that persists, determinedly.

And violent Yank immigrant-invaders of Palestine, those are mere 'settlers' too.

Words matter.

Meanwhile, it's being reported this morning that Trump and Pete Hegseth are ramping up their bloodthirsty and incoherent threats to wage land war on Venezuela. Note how the fact that they're threatening to do this unilaterally has been relegated to an afterthought in much of the coverage.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/
