This 1994 Magnavox CRT TV is still running. Owned it since new, as a childhood present. Runs all night long every night which is around 7 to 10 hours a night since then. Had a gap in 00s when i switched TVs, but went back in 2005. I repaired it in 2007. Testament to how durable these can be!

I just replaced my watch's strap. The old top strap split into 2 pieces, and the old bottom strap broke off the pin.

Yes. And we should stay furious, IMO.
I have a feeling we'll fight this battle again and again as staffing continues to dwindle, services degrade (despite these public servants' best efforts), and, eventually, when Republicans look to disband the thing they broke because they broke it.

My Marathon CL030060BK clock just experienced battery leakage with the included alkaline cells. I cleaned it with vinegar, then installed 2 Allmax alkaline cells, because that was what happened to be available.
