WHAT
The word ‘stan’ comes from the Eminem song "Stan," which is about one of his obsessed fans.

What if Eminem named the fan ‘Dennis’?

We could be saying, “I dennis Beyonce.”

It'll be ready just in time for President Andy Beshear to use it.
Trump: "Two views of the Great Ballroom being built on the site of our wonderful White House — It is on budget, and ahead of schedule! ... Because of its unprecedented structural, safety, and security features, it will also be used for future Presidential Inaugurations."

This is niiiiice.

Today was the 17th consecutive day with at least an inch of snow on the ground, the fifth-longest streak since records began in 1903. The countdown is on to see if it melts by tomorrow.

Meh. Buy me a Cherry Diet Pepsi and I'll imprint on you like a duckling.

We weather folks share a border with Liverpool FC, Irish progressives, and Brazilian furry artists. We should strike up a free trade agreement.

Tomorrow is going to feel amazing for a huge swath of the country.

Those 60s and 70s in the south are fantastic, but Tuesday will also be the warmest day in ~27 days for much of the Great Lakes region.

It's always a fun day when you get to crack out the HYSPLIT model.

My county's schools will finally reopen on a two-hour delay tomorrow after 10 consecutive snow days.

Talk about making up for the past few winters all at once.

kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them

We've got some bare pavement! Today is day #15 with at least an inch of snow/ice on the ground--the fifth-longest streak since records began in 1903.

Climate change is forcing scientists to 'fix' how they measure El Niño and La Niña.

If they didn't make this change, El Niños would look more common and La Niñas would be fewer and farther between.

Experts are changing how we measure El Niño and La Niña - The Weather Network
A new index will help scientists and forecasters better identify El Niño and La Niña events in the future as the climate changes

Maybe now we can finally cancel this administration, fire its lead, and rename it The Conners.
Last night, Trump posted a video to his social media platform that contained a racist clip showing Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. It's still up:

The N.C. State Senate primary between Phil Berger and Sam Page is getting uglier.

Reidsville is now covered in dozens of signs that have "FOR SALE TO CHINA" with Berger's face on them.

How cold will it get? A high of 18°F in Washington on Saturday would be the city's coldest daytime high temperature since January 2009.

The showcase in this 80s-era Price Is Right episode was a trip to Vancouver followed by a cross-Canada trip by rail.

I've never been so jealous of a game show prize before.

This is hideous, but unilateral disarmament is even worse.
NEW: Virginia Dems have unveiled their proposed 10-1 congressional map in response to GOP gerrymanders in other states. It targets 4 Republicans & has 10 Harris seats.

It will be used in 2026 contingent upon an April 21 voter referendum.
